Ages 3 and 4 Ballet/Tap Combination This is a 45 minute class which introduces both Ballet and Tap to our youngest students. Basic technique with an emphasis on fun! Boys Hip-hop/Tap Combination Tap and Hip-hop are two ways to introduce dance to your child. Balance, flexibility, coordination, and expressive, high energy movement. Ages 5 and 6 Ballet/Tap Combination or Jazz/Tap Combination These are one hour classes. One half hour is spent on one style, in the second half hour on the other. Kids love the opportunity to try both! Ages 7 and up Jazz Jazz instruction includes techniques for stretching, isolations, turns, jumps, and progression will flow work. Students enjoy jazz combinations often set to familiar current music. Tap Emphasizes the clarity of sounds combined with the use of the entire body in the unique form of dance. Ballet Training in classical ballet technique provides the foundation for the development of the dancer. Hip-hop An ever changing, high-energy dance style incorporating all the newest moves out of L.A. and N.Y. Boys Break-dancing A fun and exciting class encouraging young men to venture into the world of dance. We have an amazing male instructor who has performed and taught locally and nationally. Ages 10 end up - All of the above, as well as: Lyrical Ballet For students who have developed a moderate degree of comfort with ballet technique. Express the lyrics of music through movement. Pre-Pointe and Pointe For the more serious Ballet student. A minimum of two hours of Ballet is mandatory in order to participate in our Pointe classes. Private lessons are available. |
